 The Wayside Inn has been preparing delicious meals from scratch for our customers for over 80 years. Although most of our clientele come from Smyrna and the surrounding communities of Clayton, Dover, Townsend and Middletown, we also have a solid base of hungry customers from all over the state, along with Eastern Shore, Maryland, southeast Pennsylvania, and southern New Jersey. It sometimes amazes us how far people will drive for great food, good service and a pleasant atmoshere to enjoy themselves in. We love all of our customers and appreciate everyone whether they walk across the street or drive over from Washington D.C. or Baltimore.
